Today....
Today nothing really happened except for the fact that my picture was in the Newspaper. Yeah and it's for the freshman academy at RHS and in the picture I look like A)bored B)tired C) P.O. ed or D) All the above. I pick D/ But actually I was sitting there looking at the High School 101 sheet concentrating. Which was not an option in above options. But yeah. And nothing elese really happened. Tomorrow is the "I LOVE THE 80's" Pep rally and I'n wearing my bright blue striped shirt, and just went and bought a bright blue bandada cause I'm wearin my hair down. Other than that nothing happened so yeah I'll just be getting off so I can go watch "Ugly Betty". |

Ok, yeah this is late. but oh well... Here is a list about what happened at Camp John Know. Yeah I know this happened back in the summer but oh well....
*The Squirrelfish- this one derived from our counselor, Margaret, who, on the night hike, was actually mistaken for a rather large squirrel and who also, the next day in the lake, was swimming underwater and accidentally brushed up against someone's leg, to which they replied "there's a big hairy fish down there!". they found out it was also Margaret and the legacy of the squirrelfish began. The squirrelfish is an imaginary creature (or is it?) consisting of a rather large squirrel wearing scuba gear. it is WANTED. we don't know what he/she did to become WANTED, he/she just is WANTED. As we like to put it, the squirrelfish is wanted for doing something. He/She also lives in a small hole between our cabin and the bath house, and is mainly attracted by the smell of bug spray, for some odd reason. We are currently hunting The Squirrelfish. Please feel free to join. But beware! He/She is most likely extremely dangerous! (though we, of course, have never actually seen it attack someone...BEWARE!!!!!
*The Flying Octopus- this was created on the first day. we were bored and in our cabins when Alex started spinning around like a maniac with her arms stretched out. it was said that she looked very strange, almost like an octopus. the it was mentioned that her arms were in the air, so she would have to be a 'flying' octopus. She later became Admiral 'Flying' Octopus in the hunt for the squirrelfish.
*Pog- I didn't really get into this and I really don't get what it is. something they all got obsessed with. from what I got, it's like a card game that is played with small chips with weird saying on them. w/e.
* "I Think It's Jammed...Let's Kick It!"- during our Dutch auction** we had to do a broken copy machine skit. we had the twins (Emily and catherine) on our side, which was rightfully named "the squirrelfish". we had 3 minutes to come up with it, and we draped a bedsheet over one of them and had the other get in, then shone 3 flashlights madly around while making very strange sounds. all of this was planned. However, in the middle of doing the skit, we realized that the copy machine was supposed to be broken. so somebody screamed out "I think it's jammed...let's kick it!" and proceeded to 'kick' the 'copy machine'. it was rather entertaining. **Dutch Auction- you take your pillow case and put 10 items from anywhere inside your cabin into it. you take it to the pavillion where the other teams (units) are waiting. and the announcer calls up a random item that one might have at came like say, bugspray. and the first person up there with bigspray gets the points. other methods of gaining points are through skits and talents.
* "Your Face Looks Like A...Fish!!!"- during swim time, everybody got bored of "marco" "polo". so to make it interesting and theme fitting (are you discovering the pattern yet?) we created the wonderful game, "squirrel" "fish". one such game sounded like this. This is the squirrel and this is the fish. "Squirrel" "Fish" "Squirrel" "Fish" "1" "Fish" "2" "Fish" "Red" "Fish" "Blue" "Fish" "Your face looks like a" Fish!"
* Cheryl WAS here and can back me up on this : ,I will be putting brief and short explenation of this. I'm not going into it because it would take me about an hour to relive it all and another 3 hours to type it all out. Plus, it's girl talk and just an inside joke. You wouldn't laugh unless you were there. (ok, so maybe you would laugh at our stupidity, pervertedness, and ability to hold such...strange conversations). it was on Wed. night, and we were all just hanging out in the cabin and we had a rather...let's just say interesting conversation involving a pudding pop, something our friend from camp, Lucas, did with that pudding pop during breakfast, and our counselor coming in and saying "I'm sure I've had a conversation like this sometime before" when we refused to tell her what we were talking about and instead burst into a fit of giggles. and no bethany, I did not forget about the MP and the MB, but we'll not be getting into that half of the conversation. (the half that got alex to mention Lucas and the pudding pop in the first place). and for the record...you guys don't wanna know. You will never, ever, be able to look at a pudding pop the same way again. The boys from our unit will go with me on that one. they wanted to know and wanted to know and wanted to know what on earth girls could talk about that could have them laughing so hard half of them were hyperventalating and the entire camp could hear them. so we told them. guess what. They didn't wanna know.
and there ya have it. all of the funness of camp john knox. oh, and we had a concert by a christian boyband named Psalt. I have a writsband that i helped glow in the dark with their name on it and an autographed photo of all of them. and they actually autographed them for us, it wasn't already on there. that was a fun night.
Yeah, I kinda copied this from cheryl's so yeah.

Tomorrow is a home football game against the Bruins. Will be there. RHS football score thus far : 3-0 GO PANTHERS!!!! There once was a story about a man named Jedd.... *sings* There once was a story about a man named Jedd. Poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed--*stops singing*
Oh wait wrong song.
*sings again* There once was a story about a chick named Beth. Obssesed Dr. Pepper fan who went through detox yesterday but is all better now. *stops again*
Now that I have your attention I'm going to tell you a story about yesterday so you'll understand the story about today. Make sense? Good.
Once upon a yesterday I was sitting in the last period of the day, reading strategies. There I was, waiting for the announcements to come on at 3:00 so I could get the heck out of the stuffy room. A minute till three and low and behold the announcements came on. 'Yes!' I thought,' Ok, yeah whatever yadda yadda yadda. Blah blah blah, Freshmen if you want to become class officer blah blah blah. Ok we heard it all this morning just ring the bell all ready.'
Then the bell rang. I hurry out of the classroom, to my locker to get my bag. Then off towards the bathroom then after that the chorus room to get my folder. Once I did all that I walked into the large commons at the front of the school towards the vending machines. Then I walked over to the vending macjine which has the clear front so I could see what was in there. Thank God there was Dr. Pepper. Not just any Dr. Pepper mind you. Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. But luck was not with me that day because in front of the beloved CV Dr.Pepper was a blasted Nestea Peach Green Tea. Frustrated I tried to get several people to by the wretched beverage but no dice. Giving up I bought a plain Dr. Pepper and hurried out side to talk to my friends. Seeing Kayla I told her how P.O.ed I was. Then my bus came and I went home.
Now for today's story:
Today when class eneded I did the same as yesterday and ran into the large commons and over to the coke machines and what do I see when I get there? A single Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. The only one in the whole vending machine. Hurridly I put my money in, pushed C9 and received my prize. Hurring out side after congradulating myself I quickly found Kayla, and Tamra near Tim, Jessica and my other peoples. Showing Kayla the drink i gave her a high five and did a victory dance. When I was done I found my friends and others looking at me like I was stupid. But oh well I got what I wanted in the end. *snkr* The End
Now for a list I will be updating frequently: Weird Things I've Learned and Seen at RHS as a Freshman:
1. Two guys acordian humping an inflateable alien. 2. Wednesday is Hump Day.

Yeah ok. I feel like I have to update this thing, *snkr*. Yeah that's a new inside joke with Cheryl. Now I gotta give shoutouts to my buddies because I'm here in the school computer lab finishing up a High School 101 assignment. Yeah: Cheryl : Luv ya and I had fun at your house. Remember the Inu Dance? Yeah that was great. That's going on America'sFunniest Home Videos for sure. *snkr* Tamra: Thanx for not getting in those fights and saving my butt. *snkr* Josh: Your AWESOME. I love you to death. Most likely you won't see this but oh well. David: To my boyfriend : Love ya! and finally Kayla : Thnx for getting me and David to go out, again. You know what? You never know what your gonna see at a football game, I tell you what. First off I way to go to the RHS marching band and color guard. Yall were awesome and I applaud you because of how hard yall work to get the routines straight. I could never do that!! Second, we didn't have a funny band moment like your did Cheryl with Jessie #3 or was it 1? Oh well. Third, we won! Which resulted in my victory dance and stuff. Plus I was skipping down the road so I could find my dad to the beat of one of the songs the band had played. Fourth and fianl, Now my friends know what the result of me having two Dr.Pepper's is. Can't say here except that it asn't bad. Yeah, ok I'm going to attempt to log on to my MySpace and get off here. P.S. 8 more days till my 14th birthday!!! Wooohooo!!
Broke up with my boyfriend Johnny on friday. Yay! He wasn't much of a BF andway. We had been going out for 6 months and like the first two months we didnt know we were going out. Seriously. Then in those 6 months we only hugged 2 times and i got 1 note. Yeah, pretty sad I know. Anyway Tony stewart won Martinsville, yay! And Kasey Kahne won Atlanta. Two of my many favorite drivers!! Right now i am on Spring Break in North Carolina and I'm at my cousin Leeann's house. her boyfriend Josh, her, and me all went out to eat Mexican food and we went and rented some movies. We rented an awesome Dan Aykroyd movie that I have seen be fore but absoultely love. It is called 'Celtic Pride' it was Daniel Steran and Damon Wyans in it. It is a sports movie about two biston Celtics basket ball fan and they are major fans and they plan to kidnap Utah Jazz's number one player and release him after the game and it is so funny. Anyway we also rented Forest Gump and Pirates of the Carribean that we have seen before but oh well. I have five words, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Yeah that pretty much sums it up right there in a nutshell. Josh has gone to buy me and Leeann a Dr. Pepper and some candy bars. He's awesome. But he doesn't like Tony Stewart, *frown*, but he does like Dale Jr. *yay* and doesn't like Jeff Gordon! *double yay*. Yet he likes Chevys, *double frown*. I lile fords but have favorite Ford,Chevy, and Dodge drivers. Oh well. He gets a 2 1/2 out of 4 1/2 . Plus extra points for dinner and the snacks he's getting. LOL. Just kiddin', I love ya Josh! Cheryl, where the heck have you benn? Church is kinda boring without you!! Comeback soon. We miss you!!!!Plus I have GOT to get you hooked on the Blues Brothers. I wanna watch Princess Mononoke. Yes, I just said I want to watch Princess Mononoke. Don't be so surprised. Princess Mia gave it a good summary. LOL! Ok. I am on A Dan Aykroyd kick. Yes I know he is 54 years old. But he is an amazing actor. He is funny, and when the original blues Brothers came out he was very fine. But is way hotter on old reruns of Saturday Night Live from 1975-1979. And on that note, I am in love with *John Belushi and his acting skills. I mean they are so funny. I highyl recomend the following movies : Ghostbusters 1 and 2 (Dan Aykroyd and Bill murray) Caddyshack (Bill murray and Chevy Chase) Caddyshack 2 (Dan Aykroyd) Blues Brothers (Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi plus many famous musicians. Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, etc...) Blues Brothers 2000 (Dan Aykroyd, J.Evan Bonifant, John Goodman. Sadly no John Belushi) Trading Places (Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy) The Best of Dan Aykroyd : Saturday Night Live classic collection The Best of John Belushi : Saturday Night Live classic collection John Belushi died in 1982 of an accidental drug overdose. We lost a very funny actor. He died in his early 30's. Rest In Peace. Current Mood: accomplishedCurrent Music: none, but listening to Pirates of the Caribbean |

yeah ok. yesterday I helped my mom clean this very dirty apartment for a family member who owns the complex. Ok, the apartment was so dirty, there were roaches everywhere. Ewww. And the stove took 4ever 2 clean because it was like if something ever boiled over onto it the people never cleaned it up and just cooked over it. There was grease everywhere too, and gum. On the floor, in the window sill. Yeah ewww. We got paid 70$ and of that 70 I got 20. Because the other money went toward gas and food and some socks 4 my mom. With my money I bought today a $13.72 DVD, Saurday Night Live : The First 5 years. Which is the very first 5 years it started. 1975-1980. When Dan Aykroyd (woohoo) and John Belushi where on there. But see I thought it was skits but it wasn't, it was actually a 2-hour primetime special. RIPOFF!! I so could have gotton The Blues Brothers 25th Anniversary edition, Ghostbusters box set 1&2 with a collectible scrap book, or what ever else. But nooooooo, I had to get SNL. I mean I like it and all, but still not what I wanted. Yeah, and I got a blister on my hand yesterday from swinging on a awing at Rossville Park. Yeah, embarrassing. But it could have been worse. Yeah anyway that's all I got. And my hand hurts. Current Mood: bitchy |

SO far the winners are : Daytona 500/ Daytona Beach, Fla.: Jimmie Johnson Auto CLub 500/ Fontana, CA : Matt Kenseth yeah ok just had to do that Cheryl. *ish sorry* lol Here is my poem written in memorial for my great grandma : Gone You've not been gone long, no longer than a week. I hadn't seen you in years, but I finally did not too long ago. You weren't where I remember you being. I remember front porch sittings. I remember fried chicken, biscuits, and buttermilk. Those memories will no longer become realites. Since you've been gone, yes I've cried. But your in a better place. Walking down the hall into the room, I cry. I cry seeing you lie there, yes some are tears of sadness. Yet others are tears of rememberance of time spent with you. You may be gone from this earth, but not from my memories and heart. Your gone now, but the love isn't. I'm loving memory of my great grandma, Ruth Shepard March 3, 1924- February 17, 2006 and thats all I got for now.
